For Children

Tutoring

Focused, supportive tutoring from a qualified primary teacher with over 15 years’ experience — for children of all abilities, including those with SEND.

In person in Leigh-on-Sea and online throughout the UK.

What Alice brings

A teacher, not just a tutor

Alice is a qualified primary teacher who has spent more than 15 years in the classroom, supporting children of all abilities. That means tutoring built on how children are actually taught — not a worksheet handed over at the kitchen table.

Her approach is nurturing and personalised, so children feel supported, challenged and empowered to succeed at their own pace.

Where tutoring helps

Three kinds of support

Everyday learning

Support for children of all abilities, including those with SEND, building confidence, resilience and a genuine love of learning alongside the academic work.

Exams and entrance

Preparation for SATs and the CSSE 11+ entrance examinations, at a pace that keeps a child steady rather than pressured.

Home education

Tailored support for children educated at home — whether you follow a structured programme, need additional curriculum support, or want bespoke learning after time away from school.

For home-educating families, Alice works closely with parents to create engaging, meaningful learning that fits each child’s needs and interests.

Why wellbeing comes first

Calm children learn better

Alice is also a qualified yoga teacher, and it shapes how she tutors: children learn best when they feel calm, confident and secure.

Combining teaching with a focus on wellbeing builds not only strong academic skills but the confidence, resilience and independence a child needs to become a successful learner.
